European Clinical Trials Network and treatment guidelines
The UK’s Medical Research Council hosts this for the PENTA network which coordinates paediatric HIV/AIDS clinical trials in Europe and also issues treatment guidelines.
Give Children Hope in a World With AIDS
Published by the American Association for Worldwide Healthcare to coincide with World AIDS Day 1997. Despite being five years old it remains a useful and detailed booklet on the impact of HIV on children world-wide.

SOS Children's Villages
SOS Children's Villages provide long-term care for children who have no-one else, as well as wide-ranging support for local communities in 131 countries. The organisation is developing HIV programmes in several African countries.
The Orphan Project
New York agency founded by Carol Levine in 1991. Publications include The White Oak Report: Building International Support for Children Affected by AIDS (2000).
UNICEF UK
UNICEF is running a 5 year global campaign on HIV and AIDS and the effect upon children, the need for funding for medical care, PMTCT programmes and protection and prevention work. The campaign, Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS is looking to build a coalition of those concerned about making sure children and families receive the support and protection they need.
USAID publications on children
US government aid agency publication on the impact of HIV on children across the globe. Children on the Brink 2002 (see above) is an update of one of these.
